areme
areme creates premium essential oils and body care products that transform everyday rituals into sensory experiences of wellness and care. Guided by its mission to “Do Good Together,” the brand reflects a deep commitment to the environment through ethical, sustainable, and fair-trade practices. By supporting regional initiatives, areme contributes to local development while fostering a circular industry that minimizes environmental impact.
In collaboration with Behalf, areme builds on the idea of “Multi-Sensory Experiences of the Universe,” transforming the invisible qualities of scent into an emotional, sensorial world shaped through storytelling.
This brand idea is translated into an understated, typographically poetic design system inspired by the philosophy of Jun'ichirō Tanizaki’s In Praise of Shadows. Embracing imperfection and restraint, the identity extends beyond the visual to engage audiences through tactile forms and other sensory touchpoints.

We also create a generative code-based system that visualizes the invisible nature of scent by interpreting olfactory characteristics into data-driven, atmospheric art canvases. This allows audiences to experience each fragrance’s essence beyond the limits of the physical product.
The packaging is designed as a considered object. Its pull-out structure feels intuitive and encourages reuse. The scent card can hold a drop of fragrance, becoming both a keepsake bookmark and a subtle reminder of the scent. Together with the recyclable bottle, the design reflects a thoughtful approach to form and experience.
The brand further extends into editorial storytelling, documenting its journey across different ingredient regions. These narratives connect audiences to the wider world while promoting kindness and responsibility for the world we all share.
